Staff

My office staff is ready and willing to assist you. Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality of medical care in a compassionate, attentive, friendly, and non-intimidating environment.

Appointments

We pride in placing your medical needs first. Therefore, if necessary, we can schedule same day appointments when you need to see the physician urgently. Please indicate your reasons to the doctor when you contact us. The earliest available appointment will be given based on the merit of each patient's needs.

You can call us during our office hours, or reach us thru the above "Contact Us" link to complete the patient's form; to schedule an appointment; and to leave us any non-urgent questions or concerns.

If you can't keep your appointment, please call us as soon as possible so another patient can see the doctor. We realize that your time is important. If your appointment must be changed because of an office emergency, we will call you immediately. While the doctor tries to keep to the appointment schedule, an occasional emergency may cause a slight delay in your appointment. The office staff will advise you of any unusual delay as it occurs.

Phone Call

You can always reach us during our office hours. If you wish to discuss a problem with doctor, please give a message to the office personnel. The doctor will return your call at his earliest convenience. If you have an emergency, please specify the nature and type of the problem so that the doctor can become immediately aware of it. You can also reach the physician thru his answering service after hours.


Managed Care 

Many managed care and other insurance plans require pre-authorization from your primary physician before they will provide insurance coverage. It is your responsibility to know your insurance plan requirements and obtain this pre-authorization when necessary prior to your office appointment. If your insurance does not cover the costs of the visit, you may be responsible for the charges. Co-pay may be required on the day of your appointment, either as cash or by check.

Fees

The fees are based on our knowledge, skill and service. You will find them consistent with the high quality specialty care that you will receive. Do not hesitate to ask for further explanations for any charges. Almost all laboratory tests are performed by a qualified hospital-related laboratory. You will be billed separately by the lab for the tests.

Hospital Affiliation

The doctor is on staff at St Lucie Medical Center. If your condition requires a hospital stay, the office will make arrangements at the hospital. The physician can and will admit under his own service without requiring your primary physician.

Endoscopic Procedures

All outpatient endoscopic procedures are performed at St Lucie Medical Center. You will be billed separately by the hospital for the facility fee and if appropriate, by the anesthetists or anesthesiologist.

Smoking:
To safeguard the health of our other patients, please do not smoke in the office and building.

First Visit

For your first visit, please arrive early to provide information about your medical history and digestive disease problem. Most importantly, please bring a list of your current medications and any other information that the doctor may need (X-ray reports, lab results, etc.). We will also need information about your insurance coverage. Please bring the necessary referral forms from your primary care physician if you belong to an HMO. Please keep us up-to-date with your insurance coverage.

Office Hours:
The office is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
